Sections 2 and 4, which are undergoing renovation and seismic upgrading, are currently unfit for use. Both sections are composed of a basement, a mezzanine and 3 floors above ground.
In particular, section 2 underwent structural consolidation through the injection of expanding resins in the foundations and through external shoring works.
The proposed solution includes the construction of a toilet for every two cells (each cell is intended to house 2 inmates) on the inside towards the corridor and a common area intended as a passageway/lounge towards the outside.
