Pavia, 2020 – In progress

The project is part of the overall rationalisation of the l.R.C.C.S. San Matteo hospital in Pavia to bring the complex into line with clinical needs and humanisation aspects by creating an area dedicated to the SIMT – Blood Unit Validation Centre in Pavilion 7; concentrating part of the outpatient clinic activities on the mezzanine floor of Pavilion 30; and creating an area dedicated to the Onco-Hematological Centre in Pavilion 10.
With the concentration of activities in a single location, Pavilion 10 will become the single point of reference for oncology patients, with short, rational paths that will significantly improve the management of patients and human resources, concentrating the activities of the DH (Outpatient) and MAC (Complex Outpatient Macro-activity) and the outpatient clinics for oncological and haematological pathologies. A “comprehensive centre” capable of accompanying patients along specific clinical and care paths for each disease, favouring the complete integration between the specialists, within a technologically and organisationally advanced environment.

The activity of the Oncology Centre, through specific clinical and care paths for each disease, promotes complete integration between the specialists within a technologically and organisationally advanced environment.
