The project involved the construction of three new buildings essential to airport operations (General Aviation Terminal, airport Fire Brigade barracks, ramp equipment building), as well as the reorganization of outdoor areas (parking lots, large equipped green areas, taxi service and short-term parking areas, bus shelter, roadways).
The entire project aimed to integrate the new volumes into the surrounding environment, both urbanized and agricultural, leading to the creation of a “Green Airport.” The volume of the new General Aviation Terminal is characterized by rationality and clear distribution and combines an international architectural language with high-quality regional materials. The building-system, highly efficient, eliminates CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and meets the criteria of an NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) and Carbon Zero building.
