The intervention involves defining the Masterplan for the development of ZUT 12.32 in the municipality of Turin, where the New Healthcare and Clinical Training Hub, the Research Hub, the Educational Hub, and the Residential Hub are located.

The project builds on the positive elements that have accompanied the transformations of the Lingotto area, reconnecting with the past and enhancing, through a process of integration, the relationships with the significant entities that characterize the urban complex in this particular territorial reality of Turin, located between the Po River and the railway. Harmonizing the new volumes with the existing context was one of the foundational goals of the project, achieved through the enhancement, from an aesthetic and formal perspective, of the entire complex.

An expandable hospital capable of adapting to any type of emergency, with over 2000 square meters of flexible space and the possibility to expand its area by 22,000 square meters. A building designed following the main environmental sustainability protocols such as LEED, ITACA, and BREEAM, energetically self-sufficient, which will utilize 60% of energy generated from renewable sources, largely tapping into the main resource present underground in the Millefonti district of Turin: water. A hospital looking towards the future, which will extensively utilize robotics and all the most innovative technologies.
