The construction of the new complex called EuSPARC will contribute to the enhancement of the National Laboratories of Frascati, already considered an international excellence. The facility will host an Advanced Research Laboratory in the field of new technologies for particle acceleration, becoming a reference point for future users of coherent radiation from FEL. The architectural configuration is dictated by the accelerator machine (LINAC), a structuring spatial element around which the ancillary rooms (laboratories; modulator and experimental rooms; common research and relaxation areas; offices; services) are anchored.

The parallelepiped volume undergoes two significant cuts to create terraces for the placement of the AHUs; these are complemented by large green basins that create a continuum between the roof of the building complex and the hillside.
