The project involves the renovation and repurposing of Building H at the San Giuseppe Hospital in Empoli, with an investment of approximately €30 million. The aim is to centralise and enhance healthcare services, making the hospital more functional and accessible. The facility, spanning over 15,000 square metres, will primarily serve as an outpatient centre for the Empoli area.
The spaces will be distributed across eight floors, each with specific functions: reception and administration on the ground floor, child neuropsychiatry and psychology on the first floor, ophthalmology and dermatology clinics on the second floor, and dialysis services on the third and fourth floors. The fifth floor will be dedicated to women’s health, while the upper floors will host specialist clinics, physical rehabilitation, and treatment areas.
The building will feature advanced technologies and ensure a high level of sanitation and safety, including a new external tower for fire prevention. The project, developed using BIM (Building Information Modelling), aims to create a modern, energy-efficient hospital.
