Tecnicaer Engineering is proud to announce the achievement of the Executive Project Validation of Pavilion 0 of the new Giannina Gaslini Paediatric Hospital in Genoa. The project, with a total value of around EUR 160 million, is an important example of a public-private partnership (PPP) and focuses on innovation, efficiency and sustainability.
An innovative and sustainable project
The new Gaslini is developed through four main interventions:
- Construction of Pavilion Zero: a modern and technologically advanced facility, which will house high-intensity care functions to ensure greater operational efficiency and a better level of care for patients and families.
- Redevelopment of the historic pavilions: Part of the existing external buildings will be modernised and brought up to the highest standards of safety and comfort, while preserving the historical and architectural value of the complex.
- Centralisation of research and laboratory activities: space dedicated to scientific research and laboratories will be optimised to foster integration between clinical care and innovation.
- Reorganisation of training and departmental areas: new office and departmental areas for medical staff will be created
