The project for the New Hospital of ASL TO5 has taken a concrete step toward becoming a reality.
The Conference of Services has concluded with a positive outcome, and the project has officially been submitted to INAIL, the funding body for the development. This marks a strategic milestone for a healthcare infrastructure set to become a key reference point for more than 300,000 residents across the area.
The new hospital facility will be built in the Municipality of Cambiano and will represent an advanced model of healthcare architecture, designed to combine technological innovation, environmental sustainability, and a people-centered approach.
With an overall healthcare surface area of approximately 80,300 square meters, the new hospital will provide a total of 470 beds and will include:
- 32 intensive care technical beds
- 10 operating rooms, including 7 standard operating theatres, 2 dedicated to emergencies, and 1 hybrid operating room
- 7 delivery rooms
- 63 specialist outpatient clinics
- 1,200 parking spaces
The project also stands out for the integration of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence tools supporting the design process, with the aim of optimizing functional layouts, clinical pathways, energy sustainability, and operational cost management.
The hospital has been conceived with a strong focus on the well-being of patients, healthcare professionals, and visitors, through flexible spaces, green areas, and architectural solutions designed to enhance the overall care experience.
The completion of the Conference of Services and the submission of the project to INAIL represent an important milestone in the development of one of the most significant healthcare projects in the Piedmont region.
A further step forward toward a hospital designed for the future of healthcare.
