The New Ivrea Hospital, part of the Ivrea-Cuorgnè Unified Healthcare Facility, will include 246 inpatient beds and 30 day hospital beds.
Innovative strategies have been adopted in the development of the project to optimize the hospital’s layout, allowing for greater space efficiency. These strategies include reducing land use, minimizing covered surface area, and shortening distances between hospital departments, resulting in a more compact building. Additionally, the design optimizes pathways and streamlines staff operations, while introducing the technical floor in a central position to reduce the area dedicated to building services and mechanical systems.
